I believe in this and have taken Sir Ken's advice all my life. Now, after 50 years of Teaching and Learning, I can honestly say I have transformed lives simply by "spotting something"in someone else, be they teachers, students, friends or family. We should ALL be mentors! Or detectives!!!!

Alvin and I went to the same high school and graduated together (1970) at Wakulla High in Medart, Florida. However, we ran in different circles so were not close friends. About 20 years ago I had the opportunity to visit friends in Northern Ireland. Imagine my surprise when a television financial show came on and Alvin was the host. I was excitedly trying to tell everyone I knew him, that we went to school together. No one believed me at first. My recollection of him was he was very smart and well liked. I'm happy that he has done so well and traveled so far from our humble beginnings.

Also the geometry of the writing process is a critical factor to consider. There is a cognitive difference in memory formation between those who use horizontal writing process and those who use vertical writing process.

Alright, there is another video showing that mainly school children use the “tirolina” accompanied by an older person to cross Rio Negro. The 800 meters trip takes 30 seconds and the “V” shaped piece of wood is a brake. My guess is a bus transports people back to a higher point to take another zip line back home. For years to Columbian government has talk about building a cable car, but so far it hasn’t happened.

Kian sounds like an expert on even generative education and Marry seems to keep pace with him. We should admit that AI is putting us, human beings to sound apologetic and we are being forced to keep pace with it. The only way to get through this is interdisciplinary education even for educationists already in their professions and inform them and train them as quickly as possible.

Finland has 5.5 million people. Ethnically and culturally 5 million of them are the same, so a homogeneous country. We have twice as many people in NYC alone. Yes, they have made a commitment to successful education in their country, but this is so much easier when your population is on the same page in so many ways. Envious to see such a well, managed, successful school system.

Were they to teach in our public schools, they would spend far too much time dealing with the behavior issues, just like American teachers. It all starts at home, and with the culture. Finland values education, America does not.

Perhaps if he would write actual lesson plans and curriculum ideas... I'm sure he could improve the curriculum in some ways, but I still think the concept of calculations helps build conceptual understanding, improves brain power, and is still experiencing and understanding maths in the real world. This takes years to build this level of mathematical understanding in kids in order to be able to understand what real world questions to ask. Maybe its fear of change, but I fear it his methods may benefit the naturally logical kids, but end up dumbing down the overall population under the guise of pretending to be intelligent.
